A lot of positive developments in our company have created an excitement about how we can now support our clients and distribution partners in new ways.
We now offer PANDA (Pricing And Network Design Assistant) software to the community of telecom service providers. This powerful sales empowerment tool has been operating at BellSouth since 2000 and has proven itself as an indispensable sales tool for: (1) designing cost-optimal network solutions, (2) generating accurate sales quotes and proposals and (3) managing the orders initiations workflow for error-free service deliveries.
Our ManageRight software is now further augmented with professional services such as inventory build-out and validation service, monthly invoice entry and payment services, cost allocation services, cost-efficiency reviews for consolidating advanced voice and data services and wireless management services.
We have also begun working with Distribution Partners to better support the delivery of superior software tools and services for their client needs.
Finally, as Federal agencies begin to transition from the FTS2001 contract vehicle to GSA Networx program, we can support this transition with inventory buildout & validation as well as an order management service to support the transition.

Introduction to PANDA
PANDA - Pricing And Network Design Assistant, was originally developed and deployed by IntelliSales, sister company to TeleBright, over 6 years ago as a proprietary system for BellSouth. Now this highly advanced and well tuned system is available to the entire industry.
PANDA creates higher accuracy in the sales quoting and ordering process for Local and Long Distance Voice, Data, IP and Internet services. This web-based tool allows collaboration between multiple functional areas, and administers specific rights and privileges for each user. It increases the capabilities of sellers by incorporating business rules for each product, along with current rates, discounts and promotions (even supporting one-off pricing).

Import Process Enhancements for ManageRight
The ManageRight application has been enhanced to allow end users unparalleled flexibility to import invoice and inventory data into the application database. This milestone allows users to bring multiple data sources in various formats into a single web based database that all users will have access to in real-time.
Through a simple and intuitive interface, users can upload electronic files in virtually any delimited or fixed length format. The upload privilege is controlled by the User Login ID for added security to ensure only authorized users can import data to the database.
The benefits associated with this enhancement are numerous:
- Remove the need for IT or DBA resources to import electronic files
- Easily accommodate file format changes in existing data sources

Ready for transition to Networx? Part 1
The year was 1999. The government was transitioning from FTS2000 to FTS2001. Excitement was in the air. Agencies were looking forward to saving money with aggressive new telecommunications contracts. Excitement quickly turned to horror, confusion, finger pointing, lost time and unhappy people. Workers scrambled and spent many restless nights trying to manage their transition to FTS2001.

Tax Refund Tip
A one-time tax refund from the IRS is available on your 2006 federal income tax return to refund previously collected long-distance federal excise taxes. This is a one-time opportunity available to any individual, business, or nonprofit organization that paid paid long-distance taxes on a landline, cell phone, or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service.
Based on TeleBright's extensive experience we strongly advise not taking the easier path recommended by the IRS. The top allowance for the easy path is $60. The amount of the refund depends on the amount of the invoices. For large businesses the refund could easily be in the thousands of dollars.
