Can You Spare Some Late Fees?
By Mellenie Runion, Marketing
Are you willing to pay your phone provider a little more money each month for no reason? What about your electric company? Can you spare $4,000 in 2008? If your answer is no, you might be surprised that many companies do just that every single month.
TeleBright, during a standard engagement with a business, discovers that all too often bills are paid late with huge penalties every single month by their new clients. Many of these late fees are incurred because response times for the payment are short and there is ultimately an internal delay by someone. We can provide a quick report to expose just how much your business has paid in the past year for late fees. The outcome will influence the way your organization streamlines the payment process. Avoiding late fees should always be a priority. TeleBright can ensure your invoices are error-free and if they are not, we can dispute the issues on your behalf.

On Standby Power
By Mellenie Runion, Marketing
If you've talked to me in the past two months you've already heard my success story of taking my home from 1200+ kilowatt-hours last June to just 200 kilowatt-hours this June. And although I've made many changes, my efforts didn't even include insulation or reducing my standby power items.
Standby power is a new discovery to many people. Those little standby red lights are everywhere in our homes. But those little red lights across all U.S. households add up to an estimated 65 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity each year. Standby is racking up more than $5.8 billion annually and creates more than 87 billion pounds of heat-trapping carbon dioxide into the atmosphere - each year! We can do without standby.
Some of the biggest pulls on your energy bill are the adapters that come with rechargeable battery-powered cordless phones, cell phones, digital cameras, music players, power tools, re-chargeable lawn mowers, and other electronic devices. Most of these draw power when they are plugged into an outlet - even if the device is not connected or if it is fully charged. Other power users are appliances or electronic equipment such as televisions, computer monitors, and anything with a digital clock display.
Reduce Your Standby Power:

Unplug it - this is an easy step if you have all the items plugged into a power strip or surge protector, just hit the off switch. If you rarely use an item - keep it unplugged.
Purchase with Energy Star - continue to make comparisons using the Energy Star labels. These labels are making the appliance industry strive to improve energy efficiency. For product information Search the Standby Power Database.
Simplify - If you don't need a digital clock on something avoid buying that model. Keep unnecessary features out of your home and off your next electric bill.
